Description
A fine, richly-inked lifetime impression of this extremely scarce etching, with very good contrasts printing with light platetone. With the addition of the lock of hair immediately below the tip of the nose and the shading added below his right eyebrow. With small margins around the platemark. – Tiny paper defect in the corners carefully restored; the corner tip at the bottom right made-up. On the upper left edge, a small, closed tear. On the reverse, scattered paper abrasions on the upper edge. In very good condition.
