A fine, precise lifetime impression of the second state, after the addition of shading to various areas, yet before the cross-hatching added to the small area of foul biting on the basket on the right hand margin. Thread margins on the top; narrow margins on the other sides. Fitted into a mask of fine Japanese paper. – Verso paper slightly thinned in the upper corners. A small, barely noticeable stain in the left background.The lower left corner tip reinforced with Japanese paper. Otherwise in good condition. Very rare in this early printing state.
