"Maria Caspar-Filser (...) has followed her path in a calmer and more consistent manner, being one of the strongest artistic personalities among South German female painters. Her paintings, mostly animated landscapes, are imbued with a (...) rhythm of the masses, a harmony of proportions and a coherence of the often austere mood, which make her creations appear artistically utterly serene.
