A fine lifetime impression of New Hollstein's first state (of five), with the accidental scratch from the man's left eye, over his hair to the right. Trimmed to the platemark. – The lower corners made up. A tiny black ink stain in the bottom right corner. Verso with spots of paper thinning, as well as remnants and traces of a previous mounting; otherwise in good condition.
