A very fine, crisp lifetime impression of the second state, after the addition of shading to various areas, yet before the cross-hatching added to the small area of foul biting on the basket on the right hand margin. Narrow margins. – Verso paper minimally thinned out in places. Three tiny, backed and now barely noticeable paper defects along the bottom edge. Otherwise in good condition. Very rare in this early state!
