A very good, crisp impression with fine contrasts of the third state, with the false biting in the dark shadow beside the artist's cheek reworked. The left earlobe has been darkened with new lines. With even margins measuring up to 7 mm around the platemark. – An illegible inscription in brown ink at the bottom right. Verso, along the right edge, with remnants of previous mounting. Otherwise in very good condition.
