A good impression on almost the entire page, recto and verso with the Latin text, which is rubricated. One of a total of 31 book illustrations that Michael Wohlgemuth illustrated for Hartmann Schedel's ‘Liber Chronicarum’, which was published by Anton Koberger in Nuremberg in 1493. – Slightly time-stained in the cut-out of the passepartout. Occasional brown pen marks within the image. Closed tear on the right edge. Occasional tiny areas of paper thinning. Former mounting strip on the top left edge, otherwise in good condition. The striking depiction of the resurrection of the dead is one of the artist's most impressive woodcuts.
