A fine, crisp impression of the seventh state, featuring the reworking of the man's right ear, but before the addition of the diagonal shading in the lower left corner, which intersects with the fur collar in the final state. Wide margins up to 1 cm around the platemark. – A tiny tear along the left margin. The margins slightly time-stained. Verso with remnants of previous mounting, otherwise in good condition.
