Description
Curt Ehrhardt had been a member of the progressive Berlin "Novembergruppe" since 1918 and took part in their exhibitions. The group was not stylistically committed to a single direction, but united a variety of avant-garde trends. It is therefore not surprising that Ehrhardt's works from this period also show a fusion of influences from Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism and Orphism.
