Description

In 1998, he created the series Histoires de Boîtes à Lettres: a series of assemblages made from old letterpress type cases that Spoerri found in Paris in the late 1980s. Each case contains 27 letters and punctuation marks, which the artist rearranges. Together, the eight cases form a story in eight chapters – with no fixed beginning and no clear ending.
